Two Haiku & One Senryu – April 18, 2019 “Wind”

Sound of dull saw teeth

Gentle wind on the ridgeline

Twilight approaching

How the ravens croak

How the evening winds whisper

Kindle the fire.

You are the soft wind

That moves my limbs shakes my leaves

Your gentle power.

Two Haiku & One Senryu, April 12, 2019

Blossoms, but no leaves

Coats against the morning chill

Spring is still so young.

Trees stirring awake

Birds sing of their homecoming

A little dog’s grin.

My soul felt so old

Until it found its playmate

We laugh like children.
